In collaboration with Season 4 Race Across the World winner Alfie Watts and YoungMinds, this project documented a month-long fundraising challenge designed to raise awareness of mental health, resilience, and maintaining hope through difficult periods.
Between 24th May and 24th June, Alfie successfully drove a Tuktuk from London to the North Cape of Norway as part of the Brighter Days Are Coming campaign, raising funds and awareness for YoungMinds throughout the journey.
As lead videographer and editor, I was responsible for filming, producing, and editing a seven-part YouTube series while travelling on the road. This included managing day-to-day production, capturing storytelling sequences, and delivering regular content throughout the challenge.
Alongside the documentary content, I also filmed branded short-form content for YoungMinds partner, Marks & Spencer, creating a collaborative Instagram advertisement published across Alfie Watts' and M&S Food's social channels.
The project combined documentary filmmaking, live campaign coverage, branded content production, and social-first storytelling, resulting in a multi-platform campaign that followed the highs, lows, and unexpected challenges of the journey while supporting an important cause.
Content from the challenge generated more than 12 million views across all platforms, helping to significantly expand the campaign's reach and impact.
